The system of governance in India is rotten to the core. The system favours only the rich and the powerful and is totally biased against the common man. India is crowned with many epithets won on the strength of a handful of achievements while the largely dark underbelly remains out of sight and scrutiny for many. India's politicians, who stand to gain the largest benefits from the system, patronise it. And the common people suffer endlessly.
