I have found this site very helpful it gives very easy to follow tutorials on website programming languages and other information that any beginner to web developing would find helpful. If you are not interested in doing all the coding yourself and are just looking for some free website templates then i would recommend Zymic. They provide free VERY high quality website templates (And also some tutorials.) I would look into both of them:

Also later on if you chose to host your website. If you are looking for some free hosting, i would highly recommend AwardSpace. I’ve written the basics of a website log file analyzer in JavaScript that due to the language’s restrictions cannot process a real log in a reasonable amount of time. (Apparently the random 10-12ms lags cause execution time to quadruple when the dataset is doubled.)

It is my understanding that there are three ways to include commonly used content (such as navigation bars) in your website: Server Side Includes, PHP, and Javascript. Which of these three ways is fastest? Obviously Javascript is less demanding on the server, so is there a way to try Javascript and if the user doesn’t have it use PHP or SSI? Are there any caveats in doing it at all or with any singular one?

Just about anything will work, those are not very cpu intensive at all.
If you are doing 3D programming youll want something more modern and equipped with a decent graphics card.
If you arent, almost any laptop will do.

Amar’e. No knock on Amar’e cause he is a great scorer and big man w/ perimeter capabilities and he is a good rebounder as well and obviously fits in D’Antoni’s system. But, if the Knicks want to get better defensively I would never trade for Amar’e and here are other reasons why.
1.) Amar’es temper – This is a huge no no. Knicks have dealt with distractions before and Amar’e has never been shy to address his discomforts. And at the start D’Antoni and Amar’e were a match made in heaven, but when the Amar’e-Matrix beef first started. D’Antoni seemed to take the side of Marion and Amar’e felt betrayed and let it be known. In fact, when D’Antoni left the Suns. Amar’e was the only franchise player that was coached by D’Antoni for a considerable amount of years was the only 1 to say no comment.
2.) If Amar’e has some tension w/ Mike D right now. Who is to say that when 2 years come knocking he would depart because of FA. Also, if we want to resign him we would pay extra. Meaning, we would not be able to sign CB4 or a Redd/Johnson FA. It could be much easier to wait for 2010 and sign CB4. Whom is better than Amar’e he can score, rebound, and more improitantly defend. Even has a better perimeter game than Amar’e and the better attitude. CB4 is mild mannered.
3.) David Lee has proven he has more upside than Amar’e. Unlike, Amar’e Lee is mild mannered and unlike Amar’e who makes limited efforts in imroving his weaknesses on the court, like defense. Lee has made incredible strides in improving his weakness perimeter shooting. He has developed a reliable 15 footer. Also, Lee is more all-around better he can defend is a double double machine leading the NBA and the last 3 years he has been in the top 5-10 in doubl doubles, fg%, and RPG. Lee did this all in limited minutes constrained to the bench by Isiah Thomas.
4.) Take a look @ their head 2 heads to make the decision Lee got the better off Amar’e emphatically dunking over him in that game. Amar’e also has micro fracture knee surgery so if we sign him to a long term contract he may be renderless in his prime years. Remember, this is the same injury that has cut Houston’s career short and diminished Kidd’s game.
I would say wait for CB4 and keep Lee and forget about Amar’e if I was Knicks management. Agreed? I know Knicks are scared Lee will walk this year in FA market. But, we have to cut corners get rid of the remaining fat contracts and be content w/ Nate walking instead of Lee.

While reading Wikipedia’s page about Windows Vista (I still have XP) my main concerns with Vista are currently its security and its “Digital rights management” programs. Below are excerpts from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Vis…
On security: “Whereas prior releases of Windows supported per-file encryption using Encrypting File System, the Enterprise and Ultimate editions of Vista include BitLocker Drive Encryption which can protect entire volumes, notably the operating system volume. However, BitLocker requires approximately a 1.5-gigabyte partition to be permanently unencrypted and to contain system files in order for Windows to boot. In normal circumstances, the only time this partition is accessed is when the computer is booting, or when there is a Windows update that changes files in this area which is a legitimate reason to access this section of the drive. The area can be a potential security issue, because a hexadecimal editor (such as dskprobe.exe), or malicious software running with administrator and/or kernel level privileges would be able to write to this “Ghost Partition” and allow a piece of malicious software to compromise the system, or disable the encryption. BitLocker can work in conjunction with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) cryptoprocessor (version 1.2) embedded in a computer’s motherboard, or with a USB key.[37] However, as with other full disk encryption technologies, BitLocker is vulnerable to a cold boot attack, especially where TPM is used as a key protector without a boot PIN being required too.[38]”
On the “Digital rights management”:”Windows Vista supports additional forms of digital rights management protections. One aspect of this is the Protected Video Path, which is designed so that “premium content” from HD DVD or Blu-ray Discs may mandate that the connections between PC components be encrypted. Depending on what the content demands, the devices may not pass premium content over non-encrypted outputs, or they must artificially degrade the quality of the signal on such outputs or not display it all. Drivers for such hardware must be approved by Microsoft; a revocation mechanism is also included which allows Microsoft to disable drivers of devices in end-user PCs over the Internet.[92] Peter Gutmann, security researcher and author of the open source cryptlib library, claims that these mechanisms violate fundamental rights of the user (such as fair use), unnecessarily increase the cost of hardware, and make systems less reliable (the “tilt bit” being a particular worry; if triggered, the entire graphic subsystem performs a reset) and vulnerable to denial-of-service attacks.[93] However despite several requests [94] for evidence supporting such claims Peter Gutman has never supported his claims with any researched evidence. Proponents have claimed that Microsoft had no choice but to follow the demands of the movie studios, and that the technology will not actually be enabled until after 2010;[95][96] Microsoft also noted that content protection mechanisms have existed in Windows as far back as Windows Me, and that the new protections will not apply to any existing content (only future content).[97]”
Ok, so does that mean Vista is unsafer then Windows XP (regarding virus, trojans, malware, ect…)? or is it safer?
Also, if you get a computer with Windows Vista can you still move around (copy, burn, etc..) all your old MP3s, movies, videos, etc.. (that you obtained “creatively”) without Vista trying to stop you by blocking it, messing up the quality, or some other insidious way?

Their job will be to visit local businesses and offer my services to them. They will earn about 50% of the sale. I am 23 years old and work for a Fortune 50 company in the Midwest as a business development analyst. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in mathematical statistics. I have worked for my company for almost a year and they have sent me to two Six Sigma training courses; a week long course to get my Green Belt and a much more intensive and industry recognized Black Belt. I have since been on numerous products yielding +$2 mil results and led to my Certified Black Belt award.
I work on financial reporting, business development (presentations, system administrator work, business solutions for call centers and pharmacies, and creation of knowledge management content), work with individual teams to increase their cost efficiencies, and work on a large dynamic team.
Prior to graduation and my current job, I worked for five years as a pharmacy technician, mastering all three in-house training certification levels.
What do you think a competitive pay would be for my area and with my qualifications! I know it is tough in this economy to get a good barometer of the pay. Thanks!!

I do web design, both regular HTML and Flash. I have until recently only done sites for friends and family, but now these people are giving me references and I need to have a standard rate.
I have my BA in Communication with a concentration in Media Arts.
Is there a general hourly wage I should ask for? or should I charge by the page (and how much)?
