I have joomla 1.5.5 with the 1.5.8 patch. I think it has something to do with htaccess code, but I’m not really sure about everything I have to do to change it. I am really new to joomla, so please explain it like you’re talking to a total luddite. Thanks.

How Do I Remove The Template Footer Message From My Joomla Site?
January 17th, 2010For my site (www.loch.org.au/online) I wish to remove the message “Free Joomla Template designed by funky-visions.de” from the footer. I imagined it would have been easy to just remove it from the template.php file, however that file is encoded and my attempts to decode it have failed.
I have tried also removing it from the includes/footer.php file.
How can I get rid of it?
