I am building a landing page for my website’s advertiser, and I’d like to add a background image to their landing page, so I can then type regular words above the background image. Is there a way to add a background image in Static Content for the Joomla 1.0 CMS?

What’s The Difference Between A Static Content Item And A Content Item In Joomla ?
January 22nd, 2010Generally content in CMS (content management systems) is stored in a database, while static content is a page uploaded to your server.
In other words, a static content page, has a fixed address (eg: http://mysite.com/contentpage.htm). While a content page in Joomla has to be accessed as http://mysite.com?pageId=4
This means, that you only have one generic “template page, which is index.htm/php/aspx/… and you check the query string (the data data comes after the question mark in the URL) to see what data to extract from the database.
