Is it feasible to use Wordpress to run an eTail site?
I’m thinking about using Wordpress as a cms to run an eCommerce site. I know technically it’s not a CMS, and at first I thought it wouldn’t be a very great idea because it is meant for blogs. Now I have used several different CMSs like Joomla, Mambo, OScommerce, ZenCart to name a few, but the more I think about using Wordpress, the more I see some really good points. Take for instance that it is one of the most used content management systems which means that more people are familiar with it, and it is (in theory) being developed faster than other content management systems, which in turn means that there are more plugins and features being developed and integrated.
Any thoughts, ideas, experiences, or suggestions, just throw them at me, I’d love to hear them.
