How Do You Design A Web Site For Free?

I was needing a free website for my band. I was hoping to be able to do it for free instead of paying all this money for a simple site. Can anybody out there help me with this question?

    Setting up a Web site is very easy and if you want to do it for free just go to http://www.freewebs.com
    If you have specific requirements (e.g. your own domain) then there are a few things you will need to do to prepare to build your site.
    You should learn HTML and you can for free at http://www.w3schools.com/
    You will also need an HTML editor, Adobe Dreamweaver is the best and comes with a 30 day trial.http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweave…
    The best free one is NVU.http://www.nvu.com/index.php
    Then you need to find a host, I have several of the most popular free hosts listed below. If you need your own domain and you are willing to pay a nominal fee then http://www.godaddy.com would be your best option.

    go to angelfire.com you can get a free site with all the software needed to build it easily… and most important FREE. good luck

    It’s not free but we can work with you.
    My company has a simple web design builder. All you have to do is choose a template ad your content. They are all in flash too. You can change the layout or the content at anytime and its really easy for anyone with out without html knowledge to update. It has over 250 flash templates alone to choose from. Plus you can add any theme you want to change the look of your site.
    It will be $145 for a 5 page site. The additions like music ect cost more, but we can try to find a way around since its for a band and you have a low budget.

    Many hosting companies will offer you a Free Website builder.
    They are online tools based on template design.

    you could design it with prgrams like photoshop and you could sign up for a free geocities webpage on yahoo or make your band a myspace
