I have experience programming for the web (vb 6) but my company is upgrading (finally!) to dot net and I have to slowly convert my applications. Since C# is so different from old vb6; what is a good site to learn the basics?

Hello,
Visual Basic and C# are very different breeds. It will take some getting used to, but with determination, you will be able to get the hang of it.
Microsoft’s Guide to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/…
W3 Schools is a great place to learn anything:http://w3schools.com
These are as basic as you can get. If you need more information, W3Schools has the more advanced lessons as well.
Good Luck.
